Dress Code
This dress code is mandatory for participation in all classes.
Why is dress code important?
It allows the instructor to see the alignment and positioning of a student.
It teaches discipline, helping with focus and energy
It creates unity among the students.
This unified look helps minimize distractions.
Acro
Long hair is to be in a secure bun, short hair is to be off the face in a ponytail, extra short hair is to be half up or pinned off face
Bodysuits/fitted tank tops (no loose shirts that can flip up if upside-down)
Stretchy fitted shorts or pants
No jeans or skirts
Bare feet
Ballet
Hair is to be in a secured bun
Ballet sweaters are permitted for the colder months
Fitted pink canvas ballet shoes with elastic
Primary Ballet - Short sleeved pink, lilac or marine blue leotard, with pull-on chiffon pull skirt in matching color, no ballet tights required
Ballet 1& 3 - Lilac, marine blue, mulberry, lavender, navy tank or short sleeved bodysuit (no shorts), Light pink ballet tights
Junior Comp Ballet - Lilac, marine blue, mulberry, lavender, navy tank or short sleeved bodysuit (no shorts), Light pink ballet tights
Inter Comp Ballet - Black bodysuit, wrap around skirt (no shorts), Light pink ballet tights
Teen Ballet/Lyrical & Senior Comp Ballet - Bodysuit (no color preference), wrap around skirt (no shorts), Light pink ballet tights
Creative Dance
Bare feet and bare legs
Moveable clothing (shorts and t-shirt, tank or bodysuit)
Small tutus and ballet skirts are permitted
No long dresses or jeans
Hip Hop
Clean indoor runners (no boots)
Moveable, loose fit clothing
No jeans or skirts
Jazz
Hair in a secured ponytail, off of face
Bodysuit, fitted jazz short, fitted tank tops permitted, tights optional, leggings permitted (if stretchy enough)
5-11yrs - Black split sole leather slip on jazz shoes, preferably with no laces
Teen - Bare feet
Inter/Senior Comp - Bare feet
Lyrical
Hair in a secured ponytail, off of face

Bare feet (nude canvas half soles optional)
Musical Theatre
