We are excited to offer solo/duo performance opportunities for our competitive dancers! A solo or duo is a wonderful way for dancers to develop their artistry, build confidence, and showcase their individual talents. Please review the following information carefully before submitting a solo request.

Solo/Duo Details

The total per solo is $400 and $250 per person for duos.

Solo/duo fees must paid upfront to the assigned instructor to confirm your solo.

The solo/duo fee includes:

• Four (4) hours of one-on-one instruction with your assigned instructor

• Four (4) hours of private studio rental time with your assigned instructor

• Music selection and editing 

• Instructor guidance in costume selection

• Studio support during dress rehearsals and competitions

Performance Opportunities

Solos/Duo will have the opportunity to be performed at:

• Our annual Solo/Duo Showcase in March

• Select competitions that Balance attends throughout the season

Note: While our competitive groups participate in all competitions, solo/duo performers have the flexibility to choose which competitions they wish to attend.​

Additional Costs to Consider

Please be aware of the following additional expenses:

• Costume expenses (Costumes can be ordered through the studio or sourced independently, if ordered through the studio they will be charged to Studio Director Account)

• Stage rehearsal fee of $10 per solo/duo (charged to Studio Director Account)

• Competition registration fees of $120 per solo, per competition (charged to Studio Director Account)

• Any additional time that may be needed with your instructor at a rate determined by your instructor
